Jesus’ incarnation and ministry thus present us with the final critique of strategic religion; on the cross, where we see God almost deliberately ‘lose’ — as if duped into being strung up by a scheming, fearful group of clerics — we see the end of power games. God will not play. I sincerely believe that if the Church allows itself to be tied up in strategies, into ‘winning’ people for Christ, it will end inexorably moving towards power-politics, towards support for wars, and away from genuine concern for the ‘other’. The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall. The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall. The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall. "To be or not to be" is a great question for most people to ask themselves: "Do I want to live or die?" The answer will depend on one's faith. Will one believe God and trust Him to take care of them? Or will one believe that there is no God and that there is no hope? The great thing about faith is that, if it is true faith, then even if you are dying you can still live with it.

If you believe God exists, then He will see you through your life. If you believe He wants you to live, He will let you live. You can't die if you don't want to die. If your faith is weak or non-existent, then you're going to die anyway.

So why should it matter whether or not your faith is strong enough for God to look after you? You should always live as though there is a God because that way you would never be afraid of death because if there really was a God who loves us then he would want the best for us and He would see us through good times and bad times. If there was no God then there would be no hope for us so it wouldn't matter whether or not your faith was strong enough for Him to look after you because He wouldn't exist so there would be no point trying to trust Him. We should all strive to have strong faith because without any hope our lives are worthless and useless because eventually everyone dies so who cares what happens when we're dead? All hope is gone so why bother even trying? There are many other quotes about having strong faith but this one just fits the bill because it talks about how powerful our hope can be when we have strong convictions about things like god or heaven. It shows how important our hope for the future is because without hope life would be worthless and meaningless. Every man must decide whether he will walk in the light of creative altruism or in the darkness of destructive selfishness.  -   Robert A.
